MGCAMD 1.31 ENIGMA2 DOWNLOAD

Both the Cardserver and Softcam need to have the -b run in background switch set otherwise the DM hangs. I cannot test whether they work, because firstly I don't have a clue how I can tell whether it works or not, and secondly because I don't have a smartcard that they might support. I would really like to use the latest PLi for many reasons but this is just not possible. Package enigma2-plugin-softcams-mgcamd md5sum mismatch. Removing it seems to solve.

I would also prefer Mgcamd 1.

Tried one file at a time but the DM hanged in each case. Is there any reason for the Pli-team to choose for an old Mgcamd version instead of the latest build?

OpenPli Update - MGCamd/NewCS Problem

I can only test that the thing runs or starts. Is there a tutorial for DM on how to do this?

Let me know if you still have a hanging box then. Wouldn't it be better to add a mgcamd script which takes care of daemonizing and sleeping and all other stuff which mhcamd itself apparently fails to do?

Posted 10 January - I inserted mgcamf "sleep" command of 3 seconds duration before the commands to start the Softcam daemon, see below. I've attached two files which should prevent blocking on startup. Tonight, June 16thour hosting provider will be performing essential maintenance. This work will commence at Remove any existing newcs or mgcamd prior to installing. I cannot get at it tonight but will try them this week.

I would really like to use the latest PLi for many reasons but this is just not possible. Just that we are not aware of the newer version, nobody told us.
